Witney Blanket Hall Reopening

For anyone that doesn't know, Witney has a long history in blanket making. For over 300 years the Oxfordshire town was famous for its blankets, which were exported all over the world. Sadly, the last mill closed in 2002, but one of the buildings associated with the industry has re-opened this week.

Cotswold Woollen Weavers have moved in to The Blanket Hall and will be selling their gorgeous throws, scarves and wool; as well as serving good coffee and pies. If you're visiting Witney, do give them a look... and come and see us too!
